OO Scale | Austin Black Taxi
Austin was synonymous with taxis since the end of the 1920's, when dealers Mann and Overton sponsored a new Austin cab for London.
This LL or Low Loader first appeared in 1934 and became an instant success, due mainly to its very attractive price, as well as being very reliable.
Taxi fleets often had their own paint scheme and the Austin LL taxi-cab appeared in several colours, but the most popular was black as shown on this 1:76 scale replica.
Delivery info
All orders are dispatched in sturdy packaging. We aim to dispatch orders within 72 hours (custom signs will take longer) but during busy periods it might not always be possible. We will keep you informed of your order's progress.
We use Royal Mail for all UK deliveries.
Royal Mail Terms & Conditions state that delayed packages are not classed as lost or delayed until ten working days have passed. You will receive an email or SMS when your order is dispatched.
Your delivery fee includes a nominal charge for packaging (P&P).
