OO Scale Ready to Paint 1950s Policeman Posting Letter at Post Box
LAST ONE
£2.45

This 1950s policeman posting a letter at post box is a single resin figure of a police constable in period uniform, pausing to post a letter during his beat. Cast in grey ABS-like resin and supplied unpainted, he arrives ready to prime and paint in your chosen colours.

It is those small human moments — an officer posting a letter, a brief break from the routine of the beat — that make a layout scene memorable. Place him alongside a red post box on a high street, station approach, or residential street for a wonderfully characterful period detail. He suits any 1950s or early 1960s layout.

Capture a moment of everyday 1950s police life on your layout with this charming and original figure.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
