OO Scale Ready to Paint 1950s Station Porter Bundle (8 Figures)
IN STOCK
Sale price  £11.95 Regular price  £14.80

This 1950s station porter bundle is a set of eight resin figures of railway porters in 1950s period uniform, covering the full round of station duties: sweeping the platform, watering the flowers, calling out the train, giving directions, carrying parcels and a traveller's hat boxes, walking the platform, and standing ready with an empty sack truck. Cast in grey ABS-like resin and supplied unpainted, they arrive ready to prime and paint in your chosen colours.

Eight porters give you enough staff to bring a whole station to life in one go, at a saving of £2.85 over buying the figures individually. Spread them along the platform, outside the parcels office and across the forecourt for a station that feels genuinely busy and well run. They suit any layout set from the late 1940s to the early 1960s.

Staff your 1950s station from end to end with this eight-figure porter bundle.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
