A pack of high quality, detailed 3D printed K1 telephone boxes/kiosks in OO | 1:76 scale. Telephone boxes are supplied unpainted and printed in grey ABS-like resin.

The K1 was Britain's first national kiosk following the unification of private public telephone companies under the control of the General Post Office in 1912.

The idea of a universal design stemmed from attempts to harmonise the different systems inherited by the General Post Office. The Mk 234 arrived in 1921.

At the time it appeared out-dated and a few years later a competition was organised to select a design for a new kiosk, the K2.

This model is ready for you to paint and weather with acrylic paints if required. Our telephone boxes are much more detailed and better quality 3D prints than some of our competitors' products..

Use them on your layout to add to realistic street and station scenes.

Usage:

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're gluing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.

All orders are dispatched in sturdy packaging. We aim to dispatch orders within 72 hours (custom signs may take longer) but during busy periods it might not always be possible. We will keep you informed of your order's progress.

We use Royal Mail, Evri and Yodel for UK deliveries, and Royal Mail for international deliveries.

Royal Mail Terms & Conditions state that delayed packages are not classed as lost or delayed until ten working days have passed. You will receive an e-mail or text message when your order is dispatched.

Your delivery fee includes a nominal charge for packaging (P&P).
