OO Scale Ready to Paint 1950s Old Lady With Bag And Umbrella
IN STOCK
£1.85

This OO scale 1950s old lady with bag and umbrella is a single resin figure capturing the quiet dignity of everyday life in post-war Britain. Cast in grey ABS-like resin and supplied unpainted, she arrives ready to prime and paint in your chosen colours.

Place her on a busy station platform waiting for the next departure, outside a row of shops on a 1950s high street, or pausing at the edge of a village green. The handbag and furled umbrella are period details that give her a particular moment in time — she belongs to an era of Sunday best and careful travel, and that reads clearly even at 4mm to the foot. She sits naturally alongside other 1950s passengers or street figures, and a light wash will bring out the folds in her coat and the texture of her bag.

A single figure with a quietly compelling presence — the kind of detail that makes a viewer lean in for a closer look.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
