OO Scale Ready to Paint Modern Funeral Mourner Holding Trilby-Style Hat
IN STOCK
£1.85

Add a quiet, respectful human detail to a contemporary scene with this modern funeral mourner – bald, wearing a suit and holding a trilby-style hat. Supplied ready to paint in grey ABS-like resin, the figure’s formal clothing and carefully held hat suggest a suitably solemn moment.

Position the mourner outside a church, beside a cemetery entrance or among a gathered funeral party to create a believable modern narrative. The distinctive pose can also suggest reflection or conversation, helping a small corner of the layout feel observed rather than merely decorated.

Paint the figure to suit your scene and give a modern funeral gathering a thoughtful focal point.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
