Model Railway Scenes

Static Grass 30g
IN STOCK
Sale price  £7.16 Regular price  £8.95

Add natural texture and depth to your OO scale (1:76) layout with this high-quality 3mm static grass. Supplied in a generous 50g tub, it’s ideal for covering grassy areas such as fields, embankments, verges, and meadows on model railways or scenic dioramas.

Available in three realistic colours: light-green, mid-green and dark-green, to match the season or setting you're modelling. For the most lifelike results, we recommend layering or blending multiple tones to create rich, varied scenery. This grass works especially well with a static grass applicator, giving fibres a realistic upright finish.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
