OO Scale Pre-Coloured Milk Churn (17 Gallon)
IN STOCK
£2.95

Add authentic rural character to your layout with these OO scale pre-coloured 17 gallon milk churns. Designed to replicate the classic metal containers once seen lined up on station platforms and farmyards across Britain, these churns bring an unmistakable touch of heritage to your scene.

Manufactured from eco-friendly silver-coloured PLA plastic, each churn features crisp detailing including side handles, lid definition and accurate proportions for OO scale (1:76). The smooth metallic finish looks excellent straight out of the pack, but can easily be weathered with powders or acrylic washes if you're modelling a hard-working dairy platform.

Perfect for placing beside rural halts, goods yards, farm entrances or waiting neatly for the morning milk train — because nothing says “authentic branch line” quite like a row of churns ready for collection.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're gluing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
