OO Scale Ready to Paint 1950s Boy Riding Tricycle
IN STOCK
£2.85

This 1950s boy riding tricycle is a single resin figure of a young boy in period dress, pedalling his tricycle with concentration and delight. Cast in grey ABS-like resin, he arrives ready to prime and paint in your chosen colours.

A boy on a tricycle is one of those perfect, period details that visitors always notice and love. Place him on a path, pavement, or driveway — outside a house, in a park, or on a quiet street — for a wonderfully observed detail of 1950s childhood. He suits any layout set in the late 1940s to early 1960s and pairs beautifully with other children and family figures from the range.

Capture the joy of 1950s childhood on your layout with this classic tricycle-riding figure.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
