OO Scale Ready to Paint 1950s Milkman With Cart
IN STOCK
£2.85

This OO scale 1950s milkman with cart captures one of the defining routines of post-war British life. Cast in grey ABS-like resin and supplied unpainted, it arrives ready to prime and paint in your chosen colours.

Position the milkman and his cart on a quiet residential street at dawn, beside a row of terraced houses, or making his rounds through a village. The daily milk round was as much a part of 1950s Britain as steam on the mainline, and this figure immediately grounds a layout in its era. A careful paint job in whites and greys with a splash of colour on the cart will make him a standout detail in any street scene.

A single figure that captures one of the great rituals of 1950s British life — essential for any period street scene.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
