OO Scale Ready to Paint 1950s Poor Parents With Son
IN STOCK
£3.25

This OO scale 1950s poor parents with son is a set of three resin figures of a working-class family of the post-war years. Cast in grey ABS-like resin and supplied unpainted, they arrive ready to prime and paint in your chosen colours.

Place them on a terraced street corner, a market square, or the edge of a station platform. The worn clothing and quiet posture of the group give them an authenticity that suits period layouts where not every figure belongs to the comfortable middle classes. A careful paint job will bring out the character of each figure and root them firmly in their time.

Three figures with real human warmth — the kind of group that anchors a scene in a particular place and time.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
