OO Scale Ready to Paint 1950s Signalman Writing At Desk
IN STOCK
£1.85

This OO scale 1950s signalman writing at desk is a single resin figure of a signal box operative keeping the train register. Cast in grey ABS-like resin and supplied unpainted, he is ready to prime and paint in your chosen colours.

Place him at his desk in a signal box interior, bent over the register book with pencil in hand. Every bell code received, every train accepted or refused, every time noted — it is all going into that book. The figure brings a quiet but essential moment of documentary work to a signal box scene, and pairs well with other signalmen and operational railway figures to make the interior feel genuinely occupied and at work.

A single figure keeping the record straight — the administrative detail that makes a signal box scene feel completely real.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
