OO Scale Ready to Paint Modern Funeral Mourner in Long Coat and Wide-Brim Hat
IN STOCK
£1.85

Bring quiet human emotion to a contemporary scene with this modern funeral mourner in a long coat and wide-brim hat, supplied ready to paint in grey ABS-like resin. The distinctive clothing gives the figure a solemn, recognisable character while leaving the final colour scheme in the modeller’s hands.

Place the mourner near a church, cemetery, crematorium or waiting funeral party to suggest a moment of reflection within a wider townscape. Paired with floral tributes, a hearse or other mourners, the figure can help create a respectful scene that adds human context beyond the railway itself.

Give your OO scale layout a thoughtful modern-day story with a figure finished to suit your chosen scene.

PREPARATION AND PAINTING

You do not need to use a primer with our products, however we know that some customers prefer to routinely prime models before painting. We sell Humbrol Primer.

You should use only acrylic paints. Enamel paint can have a very undesirable effect, so we would recommend avoiding enamels completely.

Resin can be cut using a Dremmel or fine saw and sanded using a fine sandpaper or nail file.

If you're glueing resin parts together you should use a superglue or epoxy-based glue. Regular plastic glues will not glue resin. We also sell superglue.
